Shag Interior

– Brand Concept
– Logo Development
– Visual Direction

Overview
Shag Interior is a maximalist interior design brand inspired by rock ‘n’ roll aesthetics and 70s style. The client wanted a bold, distinctive identity that reflected her adventurous, eclectic approach to interiors.

Design Focus
I created a visual identity that captured her 70s-inspired, maximalist aesthetic. The logo was designed to feel impactful and full of character, while the wider branding incorporated clashing animal prints, a signature element of her work. The aim was to create something visually striking that felt true to her personality and design style.

Website & Collaboration

Working closely with a developer, I translated the branding into a fully realised website. Together, we introduced subtle interactive moments and easter eggs to bring personality into the experience, ensuring the site felt as expressive as the brand itself.

Moodboard-Led Approach

A key feature of the website was a moodboard-style project layout. As part of her client process, she presents moodboards to communicate creative direction, so I brought this into the digital experience, allowing her projects to be showcased in a similar, more immersive way. This helped reflect her real working process while creating a more engaging and visually rich way to explore her work.

Impact

The project delivered a bold, cohesive brand and website that fully reflects the client’s identity. By aligning the design with her creative process, the site not only showcases her work but also communicates how she works with clients.
