Overview
Trentham Gardens is a well-established leisure destination, blending historic gardens, woodland walks and a vibrant retail village within a unique natural setting. With a diverse audience visiting throughout the year, the estate relies on clear and considered communication across its physical environment.

Design Focus
My role centred on strengthening the on-site experience through refined signage and print design. Working within the existing brand identity, the objective was not to reinvent, but to elevate – enhancing clarity, consistency and usability across key visitor touchpoints.

Signage & Wayfinders

I developed a cohesive approach to wayfinding and interpretive signage, carefully refining typography, layout systems and information hierarchy. The aim was to improve navigation across the estate while maintaining the warmth and heritage of the Trentham brand. Each sign was designed to feel integrated within the landscape, balancing practicality with visual sensitivity to its surroundings.

Impact
Through considered refinement rather than redesign, the project delivered a more cohesive and intuitive user experience. The strengthened signage and print system brought greater clarity to the space, enhancing how visitors engage with and move through the gardens.
